Vista Broadband, a wireless broadband start-up located in Petaluma, California, hired Flycatcher Marketing to develop their go-to market strategies. The target audiences include residential homeowners, local government leaders and businesses. Flycatcher defined the “low hanging fruit” as communities without broadband service. Our marketing strategy was to position Vista as the friendly, local community partner customers could count on. We emphasized a personal customer service component to differentiate Vista from the large corporate brands that dominate the industry. Flycatcher created the marketing strategy, brand strategy, identity, consumer and business advertising, direct marketing, local in-store partnership programs and the Vista Website. As a result of Flycatcher’s efforts, Vista was able to gain a firm toehold in a very difficult economic environment and compete successfully against some of the largest brands in the industry.
